Organizational Consulting & Leadership Development

Using FIG's proprietary curriculum we address the skills that drive professional effectiveness, the ones that rarely appear in a job description but determine almost everything about how someone leads, communicates, and performs.

This is not a training program in the conventional sense. FIG's curriculum is a set of frameworks, tools, ideology, and guided conversations designed to develop the interpersonal and professional competencies that formal education doesn't teach and most organizations don't address, until something goes wrong.

Each module can be delivered as part of a comprehensive engagement or targeted to a specific challenge. All of it is customized using FIG’s proprietary curriculum to the individual or team receiving it.

THE KEY PILLARS OF FIG’S curriculum

Setting Intention

The cornerstone of all things FIG. Thinking about and knowing what you want: for yourself, your team and the greater good of the organization is a foundational principle in leadership and indeed life. If are able to consciously identify what you want, think through what steps you need to take to get you there, you’re wildly ahead of the game. Sounds simple… and simple is HARD!

Preserving CURIOSity

Human beings are curious by nature. The internet gives us instant answers but asking the internet only gives you an answer. Asking a human can spark a conversation, a connection, a relationship. All good business stems from human-to-human relationships. Practicing curiosity affords professionals nuances, insights, and perspectives they might never have thought to ask about yet fear of looking foolish, or social avoidance, can become real barriers. That's where FIG can help.

Boundaries

Boundaries are seldom given a thought, yet are fundamental in any relationship, personal or professional. Our clients learn and examine the benefits of healthy professional boundaries, what their boundaries are, how they create those boundaries, how empowering those boundaries can be, how to maintain them and how to work within them.

Digital Humanism

Face-to-face communication in business is irrefutable, yet technology has become an equally essential tool. Clients will explore how technology has reshaped their relationships and how to strike the right balance between digital convenience and genuine human connection. Modern business environments have unintentionally reinforced avoidance, and email, messaging platforms, and AI have quietly eroded the interpersonal skills that come with real interaction.

SELF WORTH

Ever heard of ‘imposter’s syndrome’? Yeah, us too. It’s a real thing folks, and every single professional experiences it at some point (and sometimes daily!) Self worth is often the culprit and learning how to see ourselves objectively; the good the bad and the ugly, is a powerful motivator for people to use technology to communicate. Sometimes it’s easier to text or email rather than subject ourselves to being open with another person face-to-face, but avoiding situations that cause fear and stress can lead to social isolation.

ALLIANCE FORMATION

Has anyone you know professionally actually taught you how to network well, or what that even means? Why is it important? How it benefits your organization or you as a professional? Why it is so hard for most people? Networking is a mandatory skill for any professional, FIG demystifies the intention behind networking, tools to make it less intimidating and (dare I say, fun?) and works with our clients to develop interpersonal skills for our all-digital world.

Teasing Fact From Emotion

Have you ever received constructive criticism and taken it personally? Or been on the other side; Trying to help someone grow, only to have feedback land as an attack? This is common in professional spaces, and it gets in the way of employee growth, team morale, and efficiency. FIG has proven that you can say anything to anyone (seriously) if you pause and consider four things: the Words you choose, the Tone you set, the Timing of the conversation, and the Intention behind it. Master these, and giving and receiving feedback becomes a catalyst for better communication across the board
